Creating an account on Baionic is free, but providers pay a 20% platform fee on the total agreed project price. This fee covers access to the marketplace, visibility to clients, matchmaking, and the platform infrastructure that facilitates the collaboration. The fee applies once a project agreement is confirmed and executed via the platform. When a client confirms a project, the agreed project amount is paid upfront and securely held on the platform. The funds remain safeguarded until the project is completed according to the agreed scope. Once both parties confirm completion, the payment is released to the freelancer, minus the 20% platform fee. This system ensures financial security for both sides.

Yes. As a freelancer, you remain independent and define your own pricing, availability, and scope of services. Baionic acts as a connection platform; the terms of collaboration are agreed upon between you and the client.

You can communicate directly with the client via our chat function to define deliverables, timeline, and expectations. The client can also reach out if they have specific questions. The platform facilitates the introduction and discovery phase, after which the collaboration can be structured according to mutual agreement.

Any collaboration that originates through Baionic must remain on the platform. This includes follow-up projects, extensions, or new assignments that result from the introduction made via Baionic.

This policy ensures fairness within the ecosystem and protects the value the platform creates by connecting qualified clients and providers. It also guarantees secure payment handling and structured collaboration for both parties.

This obligation is clearly stated in the Terms & Conditions agreed to upon registration. If Baionic determines that a provider and client are conducting business outside the platform to bypass platform fees, both parties will be permanently removed from the platform. Additional consequences may be considered where appropriate.
